DS708, less than a week old, wifi problem

    I have a DS708, less than a week old, after I updated the new vehicle updates it now says "the wifi mac is not matched with DS708. The diagnostics is not available!". What do I do to fix this problem?

    Hi rideon I had that same problem with one of the ds 708 I bough,t in my case the card was defective I purchace a 16gb sandisk from radio shack you can use a 4gb 8gb 16 gb I am not sure about 32g any way use a laptop that has a sd card reader copy and paste all the info from the old card to the new one then delete all the car brand the do a complete update do all this with a laptop much faster then the scanner and less chance of an error I tought I share my experience with you while you wait for support from autel hope this helps you post back your results good day.

    Hmmm, thanks for the reply from 4th floor. I also wonder if it is really the card fault.

    I tried to copy and paste all the info from one card to another and delete all the car brands. This didn't help, I have the same error message.

    hmmm, I have handled a dozen Wifi problems, but I am not sure if you are one of them.

    Hi sorry to here that it worked in my case you can try one last thing if that does not work I think you are going to have a defective scanner maybe there is a possibility of a bad file some where causing the same problem try this the new card you purchace format it go to maxidas website and dowload the system software is in page 11 I think autel support can verify that copy those file to your card then do one update one brand only see if that will solve your problem if it works do the rest of the updates I really hope that works I ran out of ideas hope you have warranty on that scanner good luck.
